Cameo Clone Development Cost for a Video Marketplace

The ready-made shoutout marketplace is a single $2,799 purchase, with complete source code, two mobile apps, three web panels and deployment on your servers. This page explains what that figure includes, how it compares with building or renting, what can raise a quote, and the running costs of a video marketplace that no software price can remove.

What the Cameo clone price covers

The $2,799 buys a finished product. It includes the fan app and the talent app for iOS and Android, the user and talent web panels, the admin panel, full rebranding with your logo, icons and color scheme, and deployment on servers you control. You receive complete source code that is not encrypted, and publishing to both stores on your developer accounts is part of the work.

It is a software price, which is narrower than the cost of running a marketplace of famous names. After launch you pay for video storage, gateway fees, push and messaging services, store accounts and the people who recruit talent and settle disputes. Those go to providers and staff, not to us. We charge no monthly license and take no cut of your orders. A marketplace with a handful of busy names costs little to run beyond the software, while one with a large roster and heavy video traffic needs storage and support sized to match.

Ready-made, custom or rented: costing a shoutout marketplace

A personalized video marketplace can be started in three ways. They differ in upfront spend, in what recurs and in how much you control afterward, which is why the smallest first bill is not always the cheapest road.

What can raise your Cameo clone quote

The base price does not move. Quotes rise only when you ask for work beyond the standard package, which we set up for you, and these are the areas where marketplace buyers most often do.

  1. Celebrity auctions

Letting fans bid for a rare message or experience adds listing rules, bidding periods, winner selection and payment capture that we set up on top of the ready-made build. The cost follows how complex your rules are, so describe the format you have in mind before asking for a figure.

  2. Fan engagement challenges

Challenges that reward fans for taking part need their own rules, progress screens and prizes. We set them up once you know how the challenge should work, who funds the rewards and how winners are recorded. A simple draw is a small job, while a leaderboard with changing rankings is a larger one.

  3. Augmented reality features

Augmented reality enhancements are available. They depend on the devices you target and the experiences you want, so we confirm scope after we see a clear description. Most buyers launch without them and add them once the marketplace has traction. A talent appearing in the fan's own room is the kind of concrete idea that can be planned properly.

  4. Customizable page templates

If talent should be able to restyle their own pages beyond the standard layout, that needs a template system. How many options you offer drives the effort, so decide whether talent or your team will control appearance before asking for a number. A few approved layouts keep the marketplace consistent and cost far less than free-form page design.

  5. Special fulfilment rules

Delivery windows and refund conditions are configurable in the platform. Different deadlines by talent tier, automatic escalation or penalties are custom fulfilment rules we set up, and their cost follows how many cases your policy must cover. Write the policy first, including what happens when a famous name misses a deadline, and the quote becomes a matter of counting the rules.

  6. Links to your own systems

Connecting the marketplace to a CRM, an accounting tool or an existing talent database is a custom integration we set up. The effort depends on how open the other system is, so the scope follows a look at its interface rather than a fixed rate. If you already represent talent, importing their profiles once is a smaller job than a permanent two-way link.

The six-day Cameo Clone launch, day by day

Launch takes six working days from kickoff. This is who does what on each day, so the schedule has no surprises on either side.

Six-day launch plan for the Cameo Clone
DayWhat we doWhat you do
Day 1Kickoff and requirements We confirm what your marketplace needs, the roles you want live and any tailored changes around the ready-made product. Send your brand name, logo, icons and color scheme, and decide the markets you will launch in.
Day 2Rebranding We rebrand the user panel, celebrity panel, admin panel and both mobile apps with your identity. Review the branded screens and mark any corrections before configuration begins.
Day 3Configuration We connect your payment gateways and services and apply the settings and changes we agreed. Share server access, gateway account details and the API keys the third-party services need.
Day 4Testing the order flow Our quality team runs an order from request to delivery, refund and payout, on both web and apps. Use the demo logins to try the fan and talent journeys and send us notes.
Day 5Deployment We deploy the tested platform on your servers and check each panel and app in the live environment. Set commission rates, delivery timeframe and your refund and content policies in the admin panel.
Day 6Handover and store submission We hand over the full source code and submit the apps to the stores through your developer accounts. Keep Apple and Google developer accounts ready, since store approval time depends on them.

Running costs of a video marketplace

None of these belong to the platform price and we do not charge them. They are the costs of operating a marketplace of recorded messages, listed so your budget covers the whole business and not just the software.

  • Video storage and delivery

Every order produces a video that must be stored and streamed back to a fan, often more than once. Storage and bandwidth grow with order volume and clip length, so size hosting to the videos your marketplace will accumulate. Fans rewatch and share these clips for years, so the library only ever grows, and old orders still cost to keep available.

  • Gateway fees

Every payment carries a processor fee, and refunds can leave part of that fee unrecovered. Ask each gateway how it prices refunds and chargebacks, since a marketplace with disputes will meet both. Because each order is a distinct payment, even a modest refund rate adds up across a busy catalog of talent.

  • Notifications and messaging

Push notifications and text messages through providers such as Firebase and Twilio are billed by usage. Order alerts are valuable to both sides, but frequent sends add up, so decide which events deserve one. A notification when a video is ready is essential, while repeated nudges to talent about an unanswered request can be limited to one reminder.

  • Developer account fees

Publishing to Google Play and the App Store needs developer accounts in your name. The stores charge their own fees and set their own review rules, and neither is included in the platform price. Keeping the accounts in your name also means you keep the listing, the ratings and the update history if you change who maintains the apps.

  • Talent recruitment

Fans pay to hear from specific people, so a marketplace is only as strong as its roster. Winning names takes outreach, agreements and sometimes agents. That effort and any fees involved are costs of your business, not of the software.

  • Content review and support

Someone must approve talent, review clips and answer fans who have a problem with an order. Even a small marketplace needs named people for this, and the load rises with order volume. Verification checks and sample reviews of videos take real time each day, and a backlog of unapproved talent delays the roster that drives your income.

  • Refunds and disputes

When a request is missed or a fan is unhappy, you may refund the order. Clear delivery rules and good briefs reduce the number, but some will always occur, so hold a reserve for their cost. Refunds on gifts are particularly common when a deadline such as a birthday has passed, so a clear delivery window matters.

  • Legal and rights advice

Talent agreements, rules on endorsements, privacy notices and terms of service need qualified advice, particularly across several countries. That spending is yours, and it is best done before the first name joins. Rights over recorded videos and the permissions needed for business endorsements are the kind of detail a lawyer should settle before launch.

Why the Cameo clone price is fixed

The product is already built, so our work is to rebrand it, deploy it and hand it over, and that work follows the same six-day pattern each time. No discovery phase is billed and no hourly meter runs. The price changes only if you ask for something beyond the package, and we say so, with a written scope, before any extra work starts.

A fixed price also commits us to the things that come with it: complete source code, no share of your orders, sixty days of technical support, a year of free updates and a first reply within two hours, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 IST. Tailored work beyond the package is confirmed as its own piece, usually two to eight weeks.

Cameo Clone cost FAQs

Do I pay a fee on each order to GetFame?

No. You pay once for the platform and we take no share of orders, tips or any other transaction. Your own commission on talent earnings is yours to set and keep. Gateway fees are charged by the payment providers, and hosting and storage by your cloud supplier.

Are the fan and talent apps priced separately?

No. Both apps, each for iOS and Android, are part of the one-time price. Developer accounts for the stores are separate and are registered in your name. We help prepare the builds and walk through submission, but the stores decide whether to accept them.

What does one year of free updates cover?

Where applicable, updates are free for a year after handover, with guidance on applying them without overwriting your own changes. The first sixty days of technical support cover problems that arise. After that, longer maintenance can be arranged with us if you want it.

Can I launch with fewer features to save money?

The package price is the same whichever features you switch on, so removing features does not lower it. You can save on running costs by launching with a few talent and one gateway, and add more later. If you want a different scope, raise it on the scoping call.

Does the price include recruiting talent?

No. We supply the software, not the roster. Bringing in talent that fans will pay for is the main job of your business, and many operators start with a small group they already know before opening applications more widely.

Will costs rise as more fans order?

The platform price does not change, because it has no per-order or per-user element. What rises is hosting, video storage, gateway fees, notifications and support effort. Plan those ahead of growth and ask us for sizing guidance as your volume climbs.

Is hosting included in the price?

No. The platform is deployed on servers you choose and pay for, so hosting is your own agreement with a cloud provider. We deploy to your servers as part of the six-day launch and can advise on sizing, but we do not host the platform ourselves.
